Would You Rather is a party game built on impossible choices. Someone reads two options, everyone picks one, and the fun starts when people have to explain why.
In RoomPlay each player answers on their own phone, so nobody can copy the first answer they hear. Then the group guesses what the majority chose.
Quick answer
What is Would You Rather?
Would You Rather is a conversation game. Each question gives two options, usually both a little absurd or both a little painful, and every player has to choose one.
There are no right answers. The point is the split: four friends pick one side, one picks the other, and now that person has to defend it.
What the browser version adds
Answers stay hidden until everyone has chosen, then appear together. After that you predict what the majority or one named friend picked, and correct guesses earn points.
Rules
How to play Would You Rather
A round takes about a minute and the rules fit in one breath.
- One person creates a room, the others join by link or QR code.
- Two options appear on every phone. Each player taps the one they would choose.
- Everyone predicts what most of the group picked, or what one named player chose.
- Answers are revealed together and correct guesses earn points.
- The next question appears. The table shows who reads the room best.
Imposter mode
If the host turns it on, one player secretly gets a different question. Their answers start to look odd, and after a block of rounds the group votes on who it was.
Browser play
Play Would You Rather online and on video calls
The game runs in a browser, so nobody installs an app. At a party, everyone scans the QR code from the host screen and plays on their own phone.
On a video call, drop the room link in the chat. Answers stay private until the reveal, which matters online: on a call people tend to repeat whatever they heard first.

Question packs

The Spicy pack adds 271 bolder questions about dating, sex and relationships. It is marked 18+, needs Premium and only joins the game when the host turns it on.
Round length
How long should a game last?
Ten questions make a good first game. That is enough for everyone to learn the rhythm and see who reads the group well.
