How to Play Would You Rather

One person reads two options. Everyone has to pick one, no “neither” and no “it depends”, then defends the choice. The fun is in the second part: the reasons, the counter-arguments and the friend who picks the obviously worse option on purpose.

A few house rules keep it lively. Give people five seconds to answer, so nobody overthinks. Let the person who chose the minority option explain first. And if the whole room agrees instantly, skip to the next card: a good question splits the group roughly in half.

Tips for a Better Round

Mix the sections. Start with two or three funny questions, slip in a hard one, then go back to something silly. A whole round of moral dilemmas gets heavy fast.

Make people guess. Before someone answers, ask the group to predict their pick. Being wrong about a close friend is half the entertainment.
