1. Data we collect
We collect data needed to operate RoomPlay, including technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, language, pages visited, approximate diagnostics, game room events and error logs.
When you play, we may process gameplay data such as room codes, player nicknames, answers, votes, drawings, scores and temporary game state. This data is used to run the game and keep players in sync.
If you buy paid features or contact support, we may process contact details, payment status, subscription identifiers, support messages and billing-related metadata.
2. Payment data
RoomPlay does not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes. Card processing, invoices, taxes, payment method storage and chargebacks may be handled by third-party payment processors or merchant-of-record partners. They process payment data under their own privacy and security rules.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide the service, create and join game rooms, process premium access, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability, understand product usage, answer support requests, comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Cookies, local storage and analytics
RoomPlay may use cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies to remember preferences, language, player names, premium state, room reconnection data and app settings. We may also use analytics tools to understand aggregated product usage and improve the service.
5. Sharing data
We may share data with service providers that help us operate RoomPlay, including hosting, analytics, payment, email, customer support, fraud prevention and infrastructure providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect users, or as part of a business transfer.
6. Data retention
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including operating active rooms, maintaining subscriptions, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, meeting accounting or legal obligations, and improving the service.
7. Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data by contacting us. Some data may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or security reasons.
You can clear local browser storage through your browser settings, but this may remove saved player names, preferences, reconnection data or premium-session state.
8. Children
RoomPlay is not directed to children under 13. Some games or content may be intended for older audiences. Hosts are responsible for choosing age-appropriate games and settings for their group.
9. International processing
RoomPlay is an online service and may process data in countries other than your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to protect data according to this Policy and applicable law.
